The prices include €99 frames, lenses made to your prescription with coatings, and 1.61 lens thinning. We also correct astigmatism and add prisms at no extra cost. Titanium frames cost €20 extra and rimless frames €40 extra.
BANAANIS VS. OPTICIAN'S GLASSES – WHAT DOES AN INDEPENDENT TEST SAY?
On 24 January 2026, the Finnish newspaper Sunnuntaisuomalainen published an extensive test of Banaani's progressive glasses. The journalists wore the glasses for several weeks. The glasses worked perfectly: sharp vision, no headaches, high-quality frames.
Finally, the glasses were taken to the photonics research centre at the University of Eastern Finland and compared with €700 glasses from an optician. The result: Banaani's glasses had better optical quality!
"Oh, it looks like the cheap glasses won this time," said chief engineer Pertti Pääkkönen.

Yes. We need a valid glasses prescription with your order. You enter the prescription in the online store when you place your order. If you don't have a prescription, you can book an eye test with an optician or ask for a copy of your earlier prescription.

At checkout you choose home delivery or, where available, a pick-up point.
You'll get an order confirmation as soon as you've placed your order. After that, the next time you hear from us is when your glasses leave our warehouse: we'll email you a tracking number.
